Description | Complete but for small plaster repair in rim. handle mended. Wheelmade. Small askos, somewhat lamp shaped. Low disc base; walls slope up to GD then flatten suddenly. Small necked spout at one edge of shoulder. Flat rim. Bridge handle from base of neck to opposite edge of shoulder. Plain black glaze, brownish in color, all over; mostly worn off in front. Fingerprints near base indicate dipping in glaze. Medium heavy fabric, fired pinkish orange buff. Very fine mica. |
