Description | Shape: Flat lid with low, cylindrical to conical sides and central coil handle. Fabric: Pink (7.5YR 7/4) clay, slightly micaceous, with decoration in very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) to black (10YR 2/1) paint. Self-slipped. Decoration: Two sets of three lines on upper surface, continuing onto sides with two additional sets of three lines on sides only Lines on handle underside unpainted. Condition: Handle repaired and partly missing, otherwise intact. |
