Description

Red ware, thin buff slip. Grooved flat base, barrel-shaped body, sloping shoulder with 2 encircling ridges, short wide concave neck. 2 lugs pierced horizontally joining ridges. Incomplete; restored. Red painted decoration: stripe around outside and top of rim; stripes above and below each ridge; chain of cross-hatched diamond-shaped lozenges between ridges; paint on lugs; zigzag band below lower ridge and under it, two horizontal bands.
