Description | Rectangular, ceramic tile painted with the image of a Katsina, possibly the Flute (Lenang) Katsina. The Katsina has rectangular eyes with triangular, hachured areas below. Nine pointed objects, possibly flutes or feathers, are painted on top of the head and blossoms are painted where ears would be. A dress is painted around the body. The side and top edges of the tile have shallow arches painted. |
