| Description | Painted dance baton called the "Sign of Absolute Peace." Formline designs are painted onto the flat baton in green, red, and black pigments. Designs include a face close to the handle, a hole carved into the wood above the face, an eye on the diagonal above the hole, and another face within a circle toward the distal end of the baton. Painted designs are repeated on the reverse. The handle is a simply carved, "T" shaped piece of wood. |
