Description

Light brown ware, mottled red and black slip, slightly concave base within which is the incised word SELMIS (most of inscription now lost because of a break); high handle having a wide triangular end, the junction of the handle and body is a loop; circular body, two voluted nozzles; molded decoration on the discus in the form of a wreath, and on a triangular portion of the handle in the form of an acanthus leaf; fragmentary and incomplete, nozzles missing.
