Description | Dark brown, fine-grained rock with concoidal fracture (chert or volcanic origin). Edges straight and curve inward to point. Base straight and perpendicular to longitudinal axis. Flakes driven off base parallel to longitudinal axis on one surface only. Flake scars not parallel to each other. One surface polished near center, but not near base. All edge but base are serrated. Broken near point. |
