Description | Barrel shaped body, high narrow neck; the rim forms a high spout. A double strand loop handle connects the rim and shoulder; on top of the handle are two additional strands rising from the shoulder below the handle with curved ends extending on the spout; these two strands are probably representations of snakes. Dark grey ware burning brown, lighter brown slip on the exterior, with a red wash. |
