Description | Hair band. "Knife" motif. Green background with white, magenta, green, yellow, red, blue, orange, purple and salmon geometric forms. Supplementary weft. Two tassled fringes. Aniline dyes used. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 46 epi, two strands, two ply, green and white cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, three strands, two ply, green cotton. Supplementary weft is double faced. Warp faced plain weave. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
