Description | Conventionally carved animal (sea monster?) head bound by raw hide to roughly carved body with legs of bent iron wire. Very long, narrow snout with carved nose and teeth. Large, slanting, carved eyes. Details of face emphasized in dark blue and black paint; teeth white; red paint between teeth and in front of nostrils. |
