Description | The basket has a body (A) and a lid (B). The body sits on a stand of wood made of perpendicular pieces. The bottom is square and the basket becomes round and slightly smaller as it moves up. At about 8.0 cm. from the lip is a ridge with handles connected at either side. The lid starts a square at the top and then becomes round to fit the body. (It was about 40-50 years old at least at the time of acquisition in 1981). |
