Description

Cylindrical bridge-spouted jar similar to MS4662. Five string holes preserved on ledge inside collar; torus foot. Coarse, red (2.5 YR 5/6) clay with light and dark inclusions. Undecorated. Restored from fragments; some sherds missing. For the shape compare Hawes et al. 1908: pl. 8, nos. 21-22, and pl. 9, nos. 17-18 and 30 (Gournia); Demargne and Gallet de Santerre 1953: pls. 31,no. 6, left, and 39, no. 4 (Mallia).
