Description | Grass; round, round bottom; flaring sides. Wrapped twining with warp and stiff weft of grass and flexible weft of grass except bottom weft which is also grass. Decoration: alternate bands of purple and red in overlay skip-stitch; red bands under edge, one continuous and one in skip-stitch and used in braid around edge. Edged topped with continuous free-standing loops of natural grass bound with purple. Medium size. |
