Description | The collar is a network of small beads in rows of black, white, green, and yellow, with an edging of red brown. From each end of the collar depend two double rows of cowrie shells, each row bound down its middle with red cotton cloth and gold metallic thread. At about the middle and at the bottom, the eight rows are joined by a row of large black and colourless (and red at the bottom) glass beads on a metal rod. Over the top row of beads are four brass discs each showing an animal; over the bottom row are four similar discs showing a mounted knight fighting a dragon. Below is a rigid band ornamented. |
