Description

Paper scroll. Kakemono. Scene of death of Buddha in Nirvana. Central gilded figure of Buddha on raised platform surrounded by saints and pilgrims; birds and small animal figures at the bottom of the picture. Scene of heaven with figures on clouds above. White moon on blue sky. Torn at top of hanging; badly repainted.
