Description | Cloth worn on head under palm leaf hat. Red with embroidered burros, birds, cats and horses in rows in blue, white, yellow, purple and green. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 30 epi, three singles, Z twist, red cotton. Weft: 20 ppi, three singles, Z twist, red cotton. Balanced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. One panel, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
