Description

Sash for a man of noble class. Red with compound stripes. Orange, blue and green on edges. Otherwise blue and white ikat. Ends netted with little tassels.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 84 epi, two singles, Z twist, red, orange, green and blue cotton. Two singles, S twist, blue and white ikat cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Woven on a backstrap loom."
