Description

Coarse, spherical body and tulip neck

Narrow-necked jar/bottle with a globular body, bulging neck, rounded rim, 2 missing handles on the body, and a rounded base. No molded/modeled additions. miniature. The vessel has a white slip?. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink on the bottom of the base. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "2822."
