Description

Fragment of a bowl with inturned rim. Black ware burning brown, brown slip on the interior red slip on the exterior in the following pattern; at the rim is a narrow band, below this is a series of triangles encircling the vessel with 2 chevrons in each space between them. The slip on both surfaces has lustrous burnishing. Handmade.
