Description | Fairly hard, medium brown wood. Full relief in a sitting position with arms and legs flexed, knees and elbows joined, and hands and feet joined together. Shallow body designs of chevrons painted red; mouth, base of head, hair line, and hands and feet also red. Eyes and nostrils have black gum in them, and a small seed is set in gum in each nostril. Small ornament of similar seeds tied to strip of fiber attached in left ear. Remains of white label on side. |
