Description

The jacket (a) is of heavy white cotton which is stained and yellowed and fairly dirty. The collar is "mandarin" and has a single button of crochet work over a piece of wood. The top two buttons are triangular and the bottom four are round. There is one pocket near the righthand bottom hem. The sleeves are straight and cuffless. The entire jacket flares slightly. The trousers (b) are of the same heavy white cotton and have an extremely wide waistband with a drawstring through it. The legs have been shortened and have a double folded hem.
