Description | Grey, fine-grained rock with concoidal fracture (chert or volcanic origin). Lanceolate in shape. Edges of tang element are straight and on the remainder of blade are parallel to each other. Flake scars parallel to one another and diagonal to edges. Flakes driven off both edges; scars meet on longitudinal axis, forming a ridge. Artifact broken perpendicular to longitudinal axis on tang element. |
