Description

Food bowl (pira). Child's or young person's food bowl. Note: no pedestal. Carved motif at ends consists of three elements; 1) paringasu (no other meaning), 2) toutou = "scroll", 3) pangopango = "nose skewer." Designs on these bowls are used to help identify one's bowl when it is loaned out for a feast.
