Description | Two fragments found separately and subsequently glued together. Reddish-brown, fine-grained rock. Broken, midsection remains (with two or original edges). Ground on one surface only. Reddish-brown, fine-grained rock (jasper?) with concoidal fracture. Edges near base are straight. Base slightly concave. Flakes driven off base parallel to longitudinal axis on one surface; driven off from one edge on other surface. Tang-tip junction formed by intersection of tang-tip junction formed by intersection of tang and tip element edges on one edge. Flake scars not parallel to each other. Artifact broken obliquely to longitudinal axis and laong one edge. |
