Description | Cast bronze statue of 8-armed Shiva dancing on figure of Balakrsna, child-god, with butter-ball in his hand. Shiva's front right hands are in varada mudra and other right hands hold the agni, ghanta (bell), and a handle of what may be a trisula (trident). The front left hand is in abhaya mudra and other left hands hold a damaru, a naga (cobra), a pasa (lasso) or an ankusa (goad). Flaming aureole around both figures. Rectangular base. |
