Description

Puppet of same type as 85-1-1, but without movable arms. Face and rest of skin gold. Narrow eye, straight nose. Face painting down. Coiled head cloth. hands clasped over stomach. Standing on bull. Black shoes. Character is a god, Sang Hyang Wenang, father of the divine beings, whose palace is Ondar Andir. Like 85-1-2, this is an especially good specimen, because of the delicacy of the cut details and the original pigments (most of the others in the group have been repainted).
