Description | Bottom of a circular object with carved leg and part of belly of an animal; base edge bears half of a guilloche pattern. Muscarella Publication: "Fragment of a pyxis preserving the flaked-off leg of a bull and part of its stomach and testicles, right. The decorated scene is inset from the area below, which has an incomplete but fully preserved guilloche at the intact base. The interior is roughly smoothed." |
