Description | CBS Register: decapitated terracotta figurine, holding a club (?) in his right hand, garment thrown around his shoulder. PBS XVI: Babylonian lady muffled in her draperies after the fashion of Tanagra figurines. In one hand she carries a flower - or is it a mirror? Her plaited tunic falls to the feet below a shawl draped over the left shoulder. The swelling of the breasts is visible through the light material. Bracelets and necklace complete the adornment. |
