Description | Bell shaped object partially flatteneed to an oval cross-section and tapering to a rounded end with a suspension ring which is almost a complete circle. there is no hole through the top and no sign of a clapper. Rim is slightly offset. Cast in one piece. Vari-colored green patina with traces of carbonate (?) and areas of reddish corrosion which center around two spots where they extend completely through the bronze. The interior is thick with lt. green crystals of copper carbonates. |
