Description

Round, wooden Katsina doll. The face is painted blue with multicolored clouds on each cheek. A tuft of feathers is attached to the top of the head. The body is painted white and red and the arms are blue and yellow. This figure is the Dawn (Talavai) Katsina. (Colton, H. 1959 #108, Wright, B., 1973 #38)
