Description

Sommerville: Chalcedony-Onyx. Harpocrates, also called Horus Harpocrates. Gold and Bronze Rings - Cameos, Case PPP.

Vermeule: Chalcedony-Onyx. Cameo. (Modern gold ring setting) Draped half-figured bust of Harpocrates to left, the uraeus on his head. A composition without [illegible] antique prototype, although the gesture of the hand to the mouth is quite evident. 17th century?
