Description

Red cotton with narrow stripes, brocaded in silk, beaded fringe on on end and pompoms on the other, tag: "Does not match rest of outfit" Totonicapan?. Green, yellow, orange, navy and white cotton. Bird and plant figures in silk and wool and cotton. Silk - purple, turquoise, white, orange. Wool - blue, green, magenta. Cotton - yellow, orange.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 48 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, cotton, predominently red with multi colored pin stripes. Weft: 26 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplemental weft - single faced. 1 panel - 2 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom."
