Description | Male figure, standing on rounded base, arms flexed, hands on stomach. Cowrie shell eyes, in carved "commas". Neck ornament (circle with half-moon below) carved in low relief. Septum pierced, with piece of string knotted through. Black, with traces of red here and there (e.g. under right eye, on left chest). Crack down left side of face; crack down front of neck from chin to chest; deep vertical crack right side of body, in front; deep crack back of base into left foot. |
