Description | Gold. In the form of long, pointed jars, with a round handle across the mouth and three S-shaped side "handles". Sides resemble an openwork basket, in which sixteen gold pomegranates (?) are pressed between six gold bands. The jar point, now an open tube with scalloped edges, probably originally contained a semiprecious stone. Granulation work on jar neck and side "handles", guilloche along the long bands. |
