Description | Iron point; similar to -1477; median ridge simple; one edge of blade shouldered (probably chipped); socketed. Shaft; orange wood, feathering like -1478 (2 feathers black and blue one side, tan the other) third feather black and tan; nock square-bottomed,. 72cm deep.; gum carved with several rings behind trailing edge, followed by diagonal checkerboard pattern to c. 1.2-2cm. from nocked end; gum whittled down to flatten the nock end. |
