Description | Bronze Buddha head with smooth finial, bands on usnisa and raised tear drop shape at front of usnisa characteristic of peninulsar Thai images. Large slits for eyes probably would have had mother of pearl inlay. Well pronounced facial features. Tips of ears are pointed. Right ear lobe is bent forward. Coloring on lips. Broken at neck. Probably 16th century. |
