Description | Sherd on exhibit 1968: Buff to brown with vegetable temper. Wheelmade. Decorated with dark brown matte paint on matte surface. Sherd from shoulder of jar. Plain annular band at top edge (base of neck?). Row of birds with elongated bodies, long straight legs, long straight neck bent over back and long thin bill. Body filled in solid. Thin and the thick annular band below. Two thin vertical lines in front of complete bird. |
