Description | Round bottom, cup-shaped neck, collared, two lugs on collar and single boss on upper body. Black pot without handles, band of impressed pattern, raised triangles enclosing pellets, encircles upper body Narrow-necked jar/bottle with a squat-globular body, flaring neck, rounded rim, no handles, and a rounded base. The vessel has a band of raised dot and line decoration around the shoulder and is painted black. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior and a smoothed finish on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in a reducing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is unknown in color. The catalogue number is written on the bottom of the base and black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "2865k." |
