Depressed body, short wide neck with thickened rim, two vertical loop handles on shoulder, encircling band of dot and line relief decoration on upper body

Narrow-necked jar/bottle with a squat-globular body, cylindrical neck, outward sloping rim, 2 strap handles on the body, and a rounded base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel has a band of raised dot and line decoration around the shoulder and is painted orange/purple. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior and a smoothed finish on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the bottom of the base and black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "2865-b."
