Description | A wooden frame with two upright arms and one horizontal arm. The upright arms holds three pieces of wood, two of which are rollers. One of the roller has a handle attached. Cotton balls are rolled through the rollers which force the seeds out. The base is made of mai khao (ไม้ขาว), the side is mai kung (ไม้กุง) and mai du (ไม้ดู่), and the rollers are mai yung (ไม้ยูง). It was about 30-40 years old when it was collected in 1981. The owner was a Mr. Khen Danwangkhwa (เคน ด้านวังขวา). |
