Description | Sue-ware vase (須恵器). Globular pear-shaped pot (壺) with rounded shoulders and rounded bottom, narrow neck and wide rim with refined lip. Carinated just below rim. Fine lines on upper part of vessel as if vessel was turned. Bottom part paddle marked. Bottom of interior is impressed with curved markings probably from support in paddling. Orange residue on interior bottom of pot. |
