Pubic Apron

Rectangular panel of shell disks and glass beads knotted on vegetable fiber. Three bands made up of 8 rows of shell disks, alternating with three bands of beadwork (a network of blue and white beads edged with red, and bands of red, white, and blue beads in short vertical strings). Piece of white cloth worked in along one side. At the bottom, a fringe of shell disks linked in pairs and brown crescent-shaped seed pods (originally 25 pods, 1 now missing).
