Description | Painting with brocade borders of approx. 2.4 cm width. Painting on beige paper. At the top a kinnari holds a jar, accompained by two small kneeling kinnari at his feet, as the jar is being offered to a kneeling monk. There is a temple at the top right. At the top left are three birds in a tree. Also included is a large kinnari seated on a bell shaped throne, enclosed by agated wall. Script. In the lower part a small kinnari kneels at the feet of a larger male kinnari in a landscape with trees, rocks, flowers, pond and three deer. |
