Description | In form of bird. Bird's head and tail tilted upward, pointed wings spread to sides. Large rounded abdomen hollow with pebbles enclosed, straight handle protruding in rear. Rattle including handle made of two length-wise pieces nailed together, one half being top of bird, other half abdomen. Painted bright blue and either black or dark blue. Eye and mouth carved. A face with large round eyes on undersurface of abdomen. |
