Description | A water lifter basket in the form of a long bamboo pole with a woven basket attached in an oar-like manner. The basket is open on top and one end is like a scoop. Water is lifted or moved from adjacent catchments using this object. It would have been suspended by a temporary bamboo tripod from which it would swing. |
