Description

CBS Register. Ur 1928-9, Season VII. Cylinder Seal. calcite. Hunter, 2 lions, inverted goat. bull. (Shell?)

UE II: Cylinder seal, shell. Much decayed.

This shell seal is engraved with a simplified combat scene in which the hero stands to the side of two rampant lions that attack a reversed-horned animal. The undistinguished carving on this seal is heavily worn.
