Description | Plain weave but flaots on back which are carried through and used in succeeding band. White Small cotton plain weave pouch with a checkerboard pattern. The pouch was made by folding the length of cloth at the center perpendicular to the warp and stitching along the weft selvedges. The checkerboard pattern is created by floating the warps along square sections at the interior. The warp ends are not bound but the header cords are braided into a strap. The header cords and stitching up the sides appear to have originally been blue. Color(s): Undyed/white and blue. |
