Description | A grating bowl made of stoneware with cut grooves running down the inside of the bowl. This is used for grating roots (wan ว่าน, a general name for sedges, flags, orchids, hemp, and herbs) for medicine and for use as a poultice. It is not usually used for food preparation. |
