Description | Point. Flaked stone tool made of black obsidian. Triangular with very long pointed tang. Thin. Partially translucent. 29-183-46 is one of many stemmed points in the collection. Stemmed points or arrowheads appear in sites from the Late Paleolithic to Yayoi Period. Without context arrowheads such as these can only be assigned a broad date range. |
