Description | A bird trap used to catch birds with a decoy. It catches medium sized birds and insect eating birds such as an owl (นกเค้า), kingfisher (นกเต็น, นกกระเต็น), or an Indochinese roller (coracias affinis, นกขาบ). The nets for a trap like this were traditonally made of cotton thread but this one is nylon. The owner was a Mr. Daeng Phumsikaeo (แดง ภูมิศรีแก้ว). |
